It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Johnson of Millport, Alabama, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Naoma Pamelia Robinson Johnson (Robinson) and Coy Darwin Johnson; and his sister Janice Marie Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Rita Gartman Johnson; his daughters, Cheryl Lynn Deese (Jeff) and Susan Lynette Pierce (Curtis); and his siblings, Judy Mayers (Ricky), Denny Ray Johnson (Theresa) and Samuel Darwin Johnson. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
