He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burby and Mary Elease Leonard (Walden); his wife Earnestine "Teny" Watkins Leonard; his children, Gloria House and Tommy Leonard; and his siblings, Linda Kelly and Vance Leonard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah McKay and Lawana Holloway; his brother Marvin Leonard; his uncle James Walden; and his aunts, Jean McGee and Juanita Duckworth. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The family has asked that masks and social distancing be observed.
