He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Rogers; and his brothers, Ed and Mickey Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Gepetta Rogers; his daughters, Cassie Jackson (Matthew) and Katie Burns (Robbie); his grandson Colton Jackson; his mother Leah Rogers; and his sister Jane Emerton.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at the Brookside Memorial Gardens (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054).
