She is survived by: her former husband Robert E Byrd; her daughter Natalie Schmitz (John); her stepdaughter Connie Austin (Al) of League City, TX.; her grandsons, James Lantz (Marcia) of Alum Bridge, WV, Ken (Renee), Col. Max Lantz II (Leslie), Stephen Lantz (Kelly) of Highland Village, TX, Seth Roush (Sarah) of Murfreesboro, TN, David Roush of Mobile, AL and Thomas Marcy (Christin) of Huntsville, AL; her great grandchildren, Connor Lantz, Austin Lantz, Travis Lantz, Max Lantz III, Luke Roush, Charles Roush, Simon Roush, Trevor Roush, Katherine Lantz, Natalie Lantz, Anna Lantz, McKayla Roush and Charlotte Marcy; and her close friend Dr. Todd Lempicki. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
