He was predeceased by: his parents, Buris Reaves and Katie Boswell Reaves; and his brothers, Walter Raybon and Renell Raybon. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Godwin Reaves; his daughters, Sherri Sandlin (Kevin) and Terri Gunnells; his granddaughters, Sara Sandlin (David Stewart) and Megan Hall (Alex); his great grandchildren, Lilyann Stewart and Oliver Hall; and his brother Royce Reaves (Dot). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
