She was predeceased by: her parents, George Groves and Velma Groves (Mores); her husband Kenneth Earl; and her siblings, Irene Smith, George Groves, Jr., Carl Groves, Alice McNail, Michael Groves and Wendell Groves.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Jo Upchurch of Millbrook, Alabama; her grandsons, Brian Upchurch (Naomi) of Millbrook and Michael Upchurch (Laura) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Hannah Nixon, Kaelynn Upchurch and Keira Upchurch; and her siblings, Charles Groves, Jack I. Groves, Johnny Groves and Cheryl Ramsey.
A time of visitation will be held at Blue Funeral Home in Marion on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 9:00 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the burial are asked to maintain social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask.
