He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey "Duck" Bodiford and Hazel Faye George Bodiford. He is survived by: his son Donald Bodiford (Brandy Morton); his brother Ted Bodiford; his aunt Ella Mae Kelley; his nephew Dewey Bodiford (Camry); and his sister-in-law Sue McGough.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
