It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Leanna Kirkus of Millbrook, Alabama, born in Monroeville, Alabama, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Samuel and Lillian Elizabeth Stacey Kirkus. She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Leanna Matlock (Gwen Thompson) and Emily Karen Grace Holliday (Benjamin); her brother Von Kirkus (Emily); her niece Sarah Beth Jones (Joey); and her nephews, Scott Nelson, Asa Kirkus (Jeannie) and Aaron Kirkus.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to have donations sent to help support her family's mission trip to Thailand.
