She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Wesley Thompson and Linnie Mae Walther Thompson (Bertrand Stewart Patterson); and her siblings, Hughey "Buddy" Thompson, Gary Thompson, Lloyd Thompson and Annie Merle Ferrell.
She is survived by: her children, Bert Patterson, Jr. (Beverly), Virginia Britt and Myra Moss (Ricky); her sister Diane Revis; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Moncrief (Gerald), Christopher Arant, Wesley Upshaw (Jamie), Clint Moss, Shanna Farris (Billy), Lynn Fraley (Craig), Brenda White (David) and Michael Headley. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
