She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Blankenship and Enda Greer Blankenship; and her sisters, Merle Trammel, Loraine "Bo" Weil and Kathleen Henry.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Byrd; her sons, Rev. Joey Byrd (Julie) and Kevin Byrd (Shelley); her sister Carol Byrd (Dean); and her grandsons, Will Byrd (Morgan), Nathan Byrd, Mason Byrd (Lynsey) and Carter Byrd (Joy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Christian Academy, P. O. Box 1090, Millbrook, AL 36054 in her memory.
