She is survived by: her mother Mary Louise Hill Abernathy; her sons, Rob Paulene (Angie), Jeff Paulene and Chris Paulene (Claire); her sister Inell McKinstry; her grandchildren, Andrew, Matt, Zachary, Asher and Sydney Paulene; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Alex and Addie Paulene; her nieces, Missy, Sissy, Stacey and Tracey; and her friends, Carol, Emmett Williams and Kay Penton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Millbrook Public Library, 3650 Grandview Road, Millbrook, AL 36054 in her memory.
