She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Young and Matilda Pollard Young (Arthur Reeves); her daughter Jenese Michelle Reeves McGhee; her grandsons, Devontaye Reeves and Shawn Reeves; and her siblings, Walter Lee Young and Barbara Loleta Young.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Reeves Sanders (Elliott), Zerrick Reeves (Tamara), Roderick Reeves and Arthur Reeves, Jr.; and her siblings, John William Young and Carolyn Young Reeves. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
