With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donnie Mathews Pouncy of Millbrook, Alabama, born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on January 25, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton Wood Mathews and Annie Earline Muse Mathews; her husband Joe DiMaggio Pouncy; her sisters, Ann Mathews Hall and Margaret Patricia Mathews Epperson; and her daughters, Donna Jo Muth (Michael), Pamela Joy Pouncy, Janet Pouncy (Christopher Colacicco) and Frances Eller (Stan). She was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to direct memorial contributions to the Shriner's Hospital for Children in gratitude for the free treatment they provided throughout Donnie's 6th year of life.
