He was predeceased by: his wife Bonita Kathlene McConnell; his son Jerry McConnell; his grandson Gregory Bartley; his brother Leroy McConnell; and his son-in-law Ray Kennedy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Kennedy, Kathy Suzanne McConnell and Maxine June McConnell; and his grandson Christopher Kennedy (Rachel).
