She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brown and Anna Belle Harris Brown; her son Leon Jenkins, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles Ollis Brown, Pearl Crockett, Ada Mae McGhee and Roseanna Marie Boswell.
She is survived by: her children, Anastasia B. Jackson, Herbert L. Jenkins and Elias J. Jenkins (Edreana); and her sister Betty Jean Laven (Allen). She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
