She was predeceased by: her parents, James Merrill Pratt Durden and Ethel McCord Durden; and her daughter Elaine Wood. She is survived by: her children, Billy Eddings (Cindy), Patricia Silas, Janet Eddings, Sharon Pitts, Lynne Eddings (Jimmy Henderson) and Melissa Curtis (David); and her sisters, Myrtle Gibbons and Wilma Birch. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren & eight great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church/School, 5481 Main Street, Millbrook, AL 36054 in her memory.
