He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis L. Adkins and Virgie Raley Adkins; his sister Ellen Jeanette Adkins; and his brother-in-law J. B. Oliver. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn "Jackie" Brown; his daughters, Tara Adkins and Alicia Adkins Kidd (Anthony "Tony"); his grandson Henry Curtis Kidd; and his sisters, Virginia Adkins Oliver and Jane Adkins Jenkins (Mickey). He is also survived by his numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church, 1078 Co Rd 112, Midland City, Alabama 36350.
