She is survived by: her husband Earl Lonnie Thomas; her children, Candace Thomas, Joseph Thomas (Sherry) and Joshua Thomas (India); her grandchildren, Julieanna Thomas, Cameron Reese, Maleah Reese, Lane Thomas, Gabriel Thomas and JJ Thomas; and her siblings, Betty Carroll, Alonzo Granger, Jeremiah Granger, Herman Granger (Shirley), Ester Gordon (Donald) and Jeanette Granger-Ward.
