He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar Roberts and Nellie Jo Greek Roberts; and his siblings, Joel Roberts and Susan Roberts Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Byrd Roberts; his daughters, Kimberly Roberts of Birmingham, AL and Kellie Alvis (Josh) of Midland City, AL; his grandchildren, Gabe, Hannah Alvis and Cameron Roberts of Birmingham, AL; his brother Pud Roberts (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Connie Byrd, Linda Roberts and Tom Hayes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
