He was predeceased by: his parents, William Proctor and Martha Proctor; his sister Annette Sheppard; and his granddaughter Raelei Boyd. He is survived by: his son Don Proctor (Twyla Riley); his grandchildren, Lisa Hitchcock (Jason), Destinee Long (Sam), Travis Hitchcock (Autumn), Aimee Boyd (Ray), Maddy Taylor (Madison) and Bridget Proctor; and his siblings, Bobby Proctor and Betty Hitchcock.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM at the Midland City Cemetery (50 Brookline St, Midland City, AL 36350).
