He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Bowman and Lounette Hartzog Bowman; his granddaughter Lacie Bowman; and his siblings, Kathleen Chandler, Hazel Covington, George Bowman and Ralph Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Parker Bowman; his children, Rhonda Rogers (Jason), Cassie Buivis (Bret), Rex Bowman (Angie), David Bowman (Monica) and J. W. Bowman (Sonya); and his brothers, Cleve Bowman, Levigerald Bowman, Johnny Bowman and Kinsey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel (305 Main St, Headland, AL 36345). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
