He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Metcalf and Javie Metcalf; his sister Linda Metcalf Borah; and his granddaughter Kayla Metcalf Eubanks. He is survived by: his wife Patti Metcalf; his children, Bobbie Houston (Billy), Selina Robinson (Daltrey Fryer), Scott Metcalf (Sherri), Elizabeth Wooden (Taylor), James Metcalf (Evan Murray) and Joshua Metcalf; his grandchildren, Ryan Hartzog, Victoria Hartzog, Rae Houston, Daltrey Fryer, Desiree Fryer, Deshawn Fryer, Pinka Wellington, Jacob Metcalf, Tyler Metcalf, Kaley Adams (Joshua), Jessica Spann (Cody), Nikki Morgan and John Wooden; and his brothers, Charles Metcalf and Jackie Metcalf (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
