He is survived by: his wife Sharon Parrish; his children, Josh Parrish (Mary), Hunter Parrish (Jennifer) and Jenni Skaug (Nils); his grandchildren, Tyler, Erik, Anne, Ayla, Fisher, Colt, Addie and Charlie; and his sisters, Grace Clearman, Sharon Dasinger, Becky Harvard and Kathy Bryant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (901 Montezuma Ave, Dothan, AL 36303). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
His contributions to Dothan's community were honored when the city named the Dothan High School football practice field after him, and his achievements in sports led to his induction into the Wiregrass Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.
