She was predeceased by: her grandfather Clyde Floyd Johnston; and her great-grandparents, Tee Lisenby, Kathryn Byrd Lisenby Lee and Martha DeShazo Mitchell. She is survived by: her parents, Eric Jernigan and Susan Johnston Jernigan; her grandparents, Beverly Lisenby Folmar (Sam), Earl and Sonja Mitchell Jernigan; her great-grandparent Ray Mitchell; her uncles, Will Johnston and Joe Jernigan; her great-aunt Debra Clackley (Vernon); her great-uncles, Cy Lisenby (Gail) and Michael Mitchell (Chris); and her cousins, Tanner Johnston and Trevor Johnston.
