He is survived by: his wife Susan Goodwin Reed; his children, Tammy Morrell (Steve) and David "Chip" Reed (Christine); his grandchildren, Ben Matthews (Kellie), Nick Morrell, Will Morrell, Zach Brown, Jacob Reed and Alexandra Reed; his great grandchild Gracelynn Ruby Matthews; and his brother Douglas Reed (Janet).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions are made in memory of David to Ouachita Baptist University, 410 Ouachita Street, Box 3754, Arkadelphia, AR 71998-0001.
