She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward Barnett; her sons, Tim and Steven Barnett; and her husband Wendell Bond. She is survived by: her children, Russell Barnett (Jennifer), Rhonda Carter (Wallace) and Karen Lowe (Brian); her grandchildren, Michael Norris, Amber Lashier, Brittany Carter and Kristen Sparrow; her great grandchildren, Finnley Lashier, Julius Sparrow and Ava-Lee Sparrow; and her siblings, Jerry, Wayne Kerr and Shirley Crawford. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
