He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Lester Brimner Montgomery and George Frederick Brimner, Sr; his wife Zelma Brown Brimner; his daughter Vicki Darlene Brimner Stinnett; and his siblings, Angelin Brimner Lance, George F. Brimner, Jr. and Ruth Brimner Dawson Davidson.

He is survived by: his grandson Chad Everett Stinnett (Anna); and his great grandchild Turner Jackson Stinnett. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
