She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Clovis Whitfield of Midfield; her parents, Purina Mozell Herndon and Ellis Lucian Herndon of Blountsville; and her son Dwight Douglas Whitfield of Birmingham. She is survived by: her children, Harry Wayne Whitfield of Sterrett and Robin Colbert (Wendell) of Pleasant Grove; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Birdsong (Ben) of Sterrett, Jessica Ryan Whitfield Colbert of Lake Charles, Molly Whitfield of Birmingham, Tatum Whitfield of Selma and Sloan Whitfield of Selma.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jerry's memory to New Faith Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove.
