It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vida Kapolis in Meridianville, Alabama, born in Hurt, Virginia, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Waller and Reese Simpson Waller; and her children, Floyd Deal and Danita Kapolis Littlejohn. She is survived by: her siblings, Alvin, Thomas Waller, Richard and Edward Waller; and her children, Cynthia Dunham and Douglas Deal. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Vida's dedication and hard work were an inspiration to all who knew her, and her contributions to the department were greatly appreciated.
