With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Phillips of Meridianville, Alabama, born in Fort Payne, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2024 at the age of 64. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Charles Houston Jones; her granddaughter Stacia Leigh Phillips; her sister Cathy Lynn Thompson; her nephew Bradley Thompson; her husband James; her children, Shannon Marie Phillips, James Christopher Phillips, Jamie Lee Phillips (Miranda) and Joseph Adam Phillips (Olesya); her grandchildren, Bailey Young, Jacob Young, Aeron Young, Kelsey Phillips, Austin Ward, Kyla Phillips, Trevor Phillips, Dylan Phillips and Veronica Phillips; her mother Shirley Jones; and her sisters, Cheryl Bryant (Wayne) and Kim Skirha (Dirk). She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
