She was predeceased by: her husband Turley London "T. L." Sanford Jr.; and her siblings, David Wheeler, Johnny Wheeler, Gent Wheeler, Howard Wheeler, Fred Wheeler, Mamie Knowles, Ruth McAlister and Lizzie Mae Wheeler.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Sanford and Dennis Sanford. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
