She is survived by: her husband Tom Milstead; her children, Daryl Milstead (Sandra) and Phyliss Wright (Terry); her sister Rena Hubbard; her grandchildren, Brittany Jean, Benjamin and Cleveland; and her great grandchildren, Lillian Reese, Michael Scott and Ruby Jean.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the Neonatal Unit of UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
