With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Edward Barefield of Mentone, Alabama, born in Florala, Alabama, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Barefield and Byrd Barefield. He is survived by: his wife Helen Watson Barefield; his sons, Brad Barefield (Celeste) of DeFuniak Springs and Kevin Barefield of Bluffton; and his grandchildren, Grant Barefield of DeFuniak Springs, Mary and Isabella Barefield of Bluffton.
