He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Turner and Effie Turner; his former wife Ruby Jewel Abston Turner; and his siblings, Marin B. Turner, J. L. Turner and Mary L. Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Sybil Jean Manley Turner; his daughter Pam Griffith (Todd); his stepdaughter Tara Boykin (J. R.); his grandchildren, Brianna Grace Chapman (Patrick), Jerry Tristan Griffith, William Boykin, Gabriel Boykin and Cameron Boykin; and his sister Geraldine Copeland.
