It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Eugene Halford of McKenzie, Alabama, born in Butler, Alabama, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Wilton Eugene Halford; his parents, Connie Halford and Bertha Mae Halford; and his siblings, John Henry Halford and Geraldine Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Eva Nell Halford; his children, Jerry LaDon Halford, Pamela Joy Kilpatrick (Jesse) and Inez Booker (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Chan Lowe (Allison), Hollie Colburn (Matthew), Marissa Bryan (Zach), Kara Halford (Peyton McCraney), Josh Thrower and Kristy Blanco; his great grandchildren, Ellie Rae Lowe, Willa Grace McCraney, Griffin and Luis Blanco; his siblings, Billy Joe Halford (Debra), Donnie Halford (Leslie), Dwight Halford (Connie) and Jeanette Gorum; his sisters-in-law, Versa Higdon (Clifford) and Vera Mae Calhoun (Foy); and his aunt Verlie Stuckey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
