He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Stewart; and his stepdaughters, Sylvia Leverington, Dinah Cook and Lynda Dozier. He is survived by: his children, Larry Eugene Stewart (Tracey) of Brewton and Cynthia Darby (Don) of Castleberry; and his stepchildren, Ricky Carpenter (Carol) of Clanton, Debra Reddish of Gantt and Carolyn King of Red Level. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
