He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Reid Hester; his children, Greg Hester (Pam) and Kim Ruggles (Kenny); his grandchildren, Drew Hester, Trey Bowen, Reid Bowen, Sam Bowen, Joseph Hester and Jessie Walters; and his siblings, Emogene Colvin, Sammy Hester and Mikey Hester. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dunklin Funeral Home (812 W Commerce St, Greenville, AL 36037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Magnolia Cemetery (813 W Commerce St, Greenville, AL 36037).
