He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Ann Goodwyn and James Edward Very; and his adoptive father Edward D. Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Jerilyn (McIntyre); his children, Craig Tucker (Annette), Lynne Warren (Neil) and Laura Corgan (Terrence); his grandchildren, Alex, Katherine, Michelle, Adam, Elizabeth, Matthew and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Adeline, Emma, Eleanor, Harrison, Barrett and Margot; and his brothers, Edward Tucker (Susan), Mark Very (Marilyn) and Kent Very (Debra).
