We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 70, Sherry Voketz of McCalla, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sherry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sherry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, BJ Turner and Hilda Grace Turner; and her sisters, Arlene Adams and Melonie Turner. She is survived by: her husband Dan Voketz; her children, Amanda Forsythe (Joel), Amy Briscoe (Matt) and Chris Martin (Kendra); and her grandchildren, Austin Whited, Melissa Martin, Kaitlyn Whited and Hailey Whited Averi Martin. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
