He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Cecil Newton and Ferne Canant Newton (Ruby Walker Newton); and his brother Michael Oscar Newton. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Reed Newton (Beunka) and Daniel Philip Newton (Helen); his sister Lisa Newton Moose; and his grandson Reed Franklin Newton. He is also survived by grand nieces and grand nephews as well as nieces and nephews gained through his siblings.
