She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hamilton and Gertie Bolton Hamilton. She is survived by: her husband Karl Edward Smith; her children, Karla Whitcomb (Paul), Thea Smith, Eric Smith (Melissa) and Lisa Hammett (Tom); and her grandchildren, Nathan Whitcomb (Audra), David Whitcomb (Abbi), Jason Whitcomb (Katie), Azalea Hulbert (Ryan), Laura Smith, Megan Smith, Olivia Smith, Rebekah Smith, Matthew Smith, Trey Hammett and Lauren Hammett. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
