She was predeceased by: her parents, Stan Fretwell and Lois Fretwell of Marion, AL; her brother John Fretwell; and her daughter Rita Purvis. She is survived by: her husband Rev. George Majors, Sr. (Buddy); her sons, Lee Majors (Yolanda) and Greg Majors (Julie); her grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Stephen), Brittany Irvin (Jacob), Madison Majors and Jake Majors; and her siblings, Shirley Hill (TJ), Nettie Mayatt (Gary), Barbara Hale, Margaret Renfroe (Wayne) and Bill (Diane).
