He is survived by: his wife Patricia Barrett Pelfrey; his sons, David Ladell Pelfrey and Robert Merrill Pelfrey (Melissa); his grandchildren, Robert Preston Pelfrey and Emily Pelfrey Pope (Jeffery); and his siblings, Edna Pace, Nancy Cordell (Wayne), Gary Pelfrey (Freda) and Dwight Pelfrey (Claudia).
