She was predeceased by: her parents, David Blackwood and Jessie Lou Blackwood; and her children, Terry O'Rear and Glenda Mardant. She is survived by: her son Barry O'Rear; her grandchildren, Kevin O'Rear (Elicia) and Erin Mardant Hitt; her great grandchildren, Kade O'Rear and Marceline June Hitt; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Gardiner O'Rear.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home (1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127).
