He was predeceased by: his parent Mildred; and his sister Linda Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Becky Champion; his sons, Blake Champion (Crystal) and Sam Champion (Andrea); his grandchildren, Ben, Jessie, Miller, John Mills and Alec; and his brother Donnie Champion. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the First Untied Methodist Church, Hueytown Parlor Patio Fund.
