He was predeceased by: his parents, James Letcher McCollister and Mae Bushard McCollister; and his brother Kenneth Lois Beam. He is survived by: his wife Faye Perry McCollister; his children, Amy McCollister Matthews (Quinton) and Jason Perry McCollister; his grandchildren, Mary Wellesley Matthews and William Dean Matthews; and his brother Thomas Stephen McCollister (Lynne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
