With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Charles Rhodes of McCalla, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell Rhodes and Lucile Parker Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Judy Howard Rhodes; his children, David Rhodes (Jim), Brian Rhodes and Lisa Marie Pate (Stephen); his grandsons, Brady Rhodes, Parker Rhodes and Evan Pate; and his sister Alice Rhodes Dunlap.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCalla Memorial Funeral Home (4780 Letson Farms Pkwy, McCalla, AL 35111). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Charles' Funeral Service (4780 Letson Farms Pkwy, McCalla, AL 35111).
