He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jesse and Rosa Belle Poole; his son Phillip Dwight; his sisters, Stella Shackleford, Claudie George, Marie George and Onzell Dennis; and his son Clark Aubrey.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Nell; his children, Michael Dale (Susan) and Stephanie Gamble (Jeff); his grandsons, Christopher Gamble, Cody Gamble and Dr. Gregory Poole; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Gamble, Alyssa Gamble and Aubrey Gamble. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
