He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Hopkins Cooley; his children, Brett Cooley (Valerie), Shannon McDougal (Jim), Sonya Arrington (Jim), Tammy Boyd (Robert) and Tera Pullen (Dorian); his adoptive son Jack Fanning-Cooley; his siblings, Darryl Cooley (Judy), Jean Cooley Gunn (Jim) and Sandy Ingram Smith (Ray); and his godchildren, Harrison Sparks (Renee), Rena Caffee (Luther) and Kim Batton (James). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
