She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Abernathy, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Billy Abernathy, Tanna Faye Chapman (Billy Joe) and Diane Brown (Phil); and her grandchildren, Susan Chapman, Sharon DeFreese (John) and Alison Dagnan (Michael). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
